“Color & Clay — A Duet,” an exhibit of work by ceramist Joan Libby Hawk and painter Jana Millstone that was due to open in May at Art Uptown in downtown Sarasota, is now available via the gallery’s Facebook and Instagram accounts. Two of the newest artists featured at Art Uptown, Hawk and Millstone are sharing thoughts on how they collaborated on a project that was started before the era of social distancing. And they talk about how they share a contemporary artistic sensibility.
